Title: Postdoctoral Researcher

Education:

B.S., University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR

Ph.D. Tulane University, New Orleans, LA.

Biography

Shelby White is a postdoctoral researcher in the REdesign lab. While obtaining her Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University, she characterized the mechanical properties of the mouse vagina with age as well as postpartum healing. In the Freytes lab at the UNC/NCSU Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering, Shelby is currently investigating biomaterial applications related to vocal cord repair and regeneration.
