Samantha Knapp (2021-Current)

I am a senior majoring in biomedical engineering under the regenerative medicine concentration and two minors in biotechnology and tissue engineering. My research interests include bioengineered tissues and scaffolds, biomaterial development, and stem cell applications. I am thrilled to be a part of this research lab to further my undergraduate studies and develop my laboratory skills.

 

Caroline Dau (2019 – Current)

I am a junior in Biomedical Engineering with an intended concentration in regenerative medicine and minor in Tissue Engineering. My research interests include stem cell research, and bioengineered tissues and scaffolds. I am very excited to be a part of this research lab to further enhance my studies.

Bhairavy Puviindran (2020 – Current) 

I am a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering with minors in Tissue Engineering, Microbiology, and Global Health. My research interests include regenerative medicine, and incorporating research and engineering into solutions for global issues. I am currently studying the protein composition of different scaffolds from different decellularized materials.

Alexa Jimenez Escribano (summer 2021- current)
I am a sophomore majoring in Biomedical Engineering with minors in Biotechnology and Spanish. My research interests include regenerative medicine, biomaterials, and pharmacoengineering. I am currently studying how to mimic vocal fold three-dimensional movement by creating a vibrating gel model that can be used to further study vocal fold reconstruction.
